1Lake Barrine is located 65 kilometers (40 miles) southwest of Cairns, at the top of the Gillies Range which is part of the Atherton Tablelands.

4 The fresh water lake was formed around 10,000 years ago when a large volcanic crater filled with rain water.

12 I know it's hard to see, but there is a bush turkey in there.

14 Here's a fresh water eel.
15 Check out the Joe Blake (snake) sunning itself. The guy giving the tour said they measured this python several years a go and it went 7 meters (23 feet).
